Why do I make photographs?

Because life happens quickly.

Days sometimes seem like forever, but years slide by fast. Tomorrow everyone will be older, and everything will be different.

But photos have a marvelous way of not only reminding us of a moment, they bring back from the murkiness entire swaths of time, adding faces and expressions and emotions to shadowy shapes.
